Diane Baysinger Albahrawy, JD

Founder, Lead Strategist & Curriculum Architect Professor. Lawyer. Curriculum visionary. Diane brings over 15 years of experience in higher education, policy analysis, and strategic reform. She specializes in translating complex research into actionable toolkits, visual metaphors, and emotionally intelligent frameworks that empower educators and communities. As the founder of We Survived Educational Consulting, Diane leads the development of the Balanced ABC Framework: Start with Attitude. Build Better Behavior. Connect with the Content. Her work blends emotional intelligence, trauma-informed pedagogy, and the TEACH standards into practical toolkits, training courses, and reform strategies that meet educators where they are—and help them move forward.

Diane is also the creator of the We Survived America Substack series and co-host of the Surviving Stories podcast, where she dramatizes systemic tensions through narrative, metaphor, and lived experience. Her writing and consulting are rooted in legal precedent, historical context, and a deep commitment to public accountability.

Mohamed Albahrawy

Founder, Lead Trainer & Curriculum Strategist, Middle school teacher. Hospitality leader. Pedagogy innovator. Mohamed blends classroom insight with operational strategy to support schools in building inclusive, emotionally intelligent learning environments. His teaching philosophy centers on respect, accountability, and perseverance—values he models in every training session and consulting engagement.

Mohamed Albahrawy brings over two decades of experience in education, hospitality, and leadership to We Survived Educational Consulting. As a licensed middle school social studies teacher and former executive director in the hospitality industry, Mohamed blends classroom insight with operational strategy to support schools in building inclusive, emotionally intelligent learning environments.

He has led teaching teams across charter and public schools, designed culturally responsive lesson plans, and mentored students through critical thinking, civic engagement, and historical inquiry. His pedagogy centers on respect, accountability, and perseverance—values he models in every training session and consulting engagement.

Mohamed’s work spans curriculum development, student success coaching, and professional training. He specializes in helping educators implement the Balanced ABC Framework and TEACH standards through customized workshops, storytelling, and practical classroom strategies.
